Our Range of Machines
AVF for moulding thick sheets of thermoformable material. Add on modules for sheet feed systems and reel feed attachments are also optionally available.
Ridat Vacuum Formers with Duplex Heaters with its standard high specifications provides consistent production to match the European majors. We offer wide range of standard models and are ever ready to respond to requests for bespoke specifications.
With Superior Performance at highly competitive prices, the Ridat AVF series of machines are delight for all Production Manager, Business Owners and Finance Director.

AFCS for automatic processing of roll-fed material with 3-pitch pre-heat vacuum forming, trimming and stacking. Pressure Forming versions are also available.
Ridat form-cut stack systems offer comparatively bigger forming areas with more powerful servo driven trimming presses, so as to provide greater flexibility with mould design and use of the newer thermoformable materials.
The Ridat 3-stage thermoforming machines will accept tooling used in most competitors machines; tooling costs are also generally greatly lower.
With Superior Performance at highly competitive prices, the Ridat AFCS series of machines are delight for all Production Manager, Business Owners and Finance Directors.

APF for automatic processing of roll-fed material with pressure forming and punching in station operation.
Ridat APF series of Pressure Forming Machines has a comparatively smaller forming area and low tooling costs.
Any of the APF machine can readily form the basis of a start up thermoforming business geared to the increasingly popular plastic disposables.
With Ridat equipment reliable production of thermoformed components is assured.

ATF Semi Automatic Thermoforming machine (earlier referred to as the Super series) featuring in-line pre-heating, heating, large format forming, material transportation and sheet separation
Another old faithful of trade formers producing chocolate, biscuit box inserts and similar components that permits trimming of multiple sheets at a time on say the Ridat Roller Cutting Presses.
With its large forming area, the Ridat ATF’s allowed flexibility in mould design, low unit cost and high volume production.
It also finds favour with in-house manufacturers of building products like roofing & ventilation panels; underfloor heating panels; drainage (both roof & underground) and cut-off walls for contaminated land.
The larger model 4848ATF is available also as a pressure former.

Semi Automatic (referred to as Midmatic) Vacuum Former provides for automatic processing cycle complete with material heat, vacuum to mould the shape, cooling of the formed product and ejection from the mould, index of the vacuum formed sheet and in-line sheet separation for continued uninterrupted production
Ridat Midmatic Vacuum Formers has, since the late 60’s, generally been the work horse of the trade formers throughout the UK (and many of the English speaking countries around the globe), until the introduction of the form-cut stack systems. Updated to current day standards, it is still the appropriate solution for small to medium volume production runs and even today can be found plugging away with many trade formers. Ridat Midmatic Vacuum Formers together with Roller Press still form cost effective alternative to the high cost 3-stage inline thermoformers.

Semi Automatic (SA series) Vacuum Former for automatic forming cycle complete with material heat, vacuum to mould the shape, cooling of the formed product and ejection from the mould to allow easy removal of the vacuum formed component to be removed by the operator
Ridat Semi Automatic Vacuum Formers offer, as standard high specifications, consistent production and a wide range of standard models and readiness to respond to requests for bespoke specifications.

Semi Manual (SM series) Vacuum Former is designed for prototype and small volume runs. Here, the crucial heating cycle is automatic. All other facets are power assisted. Loading of sheets and removal of the forming are manual.
Ridat Semi-Manual Vacuum Formers offer, as standard high specifications, consistent production and a wide range of standard models and readiness to respond to requests for bespoke specifications.

MediVac Vacuum Former designed specifically for hospitals
Ridat MediVac series of vacuum formers offers a choice of sizes depending on whether shells were to be made to fit the head and neck or to fit the thorax.
It was first developed in early 70’s, in co-operation with Royal Marsden Hospital, London to produce beam directional shells for radiotherapy.
Despite being messier than the thermoplastic option, vacuum formed shells are generally more accurate, better in replicating the contours of the body, less flimsy, easier to label and more suitable for skin sparing.

Ridat Blister Sealing Press is designed to heat seal adhesive coated card or film onto pre-formed blisters
The comprehensive Ridat range includes shuttle, rotary, and conveyor type of blister sealing presses. These cater to entry level blister heat sealing presses to high speed production lines.
The blister sealers are available in the standard “industrial” specifications or “pharmaceutical” versions with many options for validation.
Ridat heat sealing presses offer high specifications, consistent production and a wide range of standard models to suit most requirements and a readiness to respond to requests for bespoke specifications.

Ridat Roller Die Cutting Press is designed to outline-cut in a wide variety of materials
Simple in operation, the progressive die-cut of the Ridat roller cutters with its solid pressure rollers enables it to provide consistent cut with even thick material.
