Semi Automatic

Ridat has for the past 40 years provided a single source range of packaging plant. It tended, until recently, to concentrate in semi automatic machinery for vacuum moulding, blister packaging and skin packaging.  Many of the earlier versions are still operating and Ridat machines are acknowledged as the workhorses for the industry.

Another old faithful of trade formers producing chocolate, biscuit box inserts and similar components that permits trimming of multiple sheets at a time on say the Ridat Roller Cutting Presses.

With its large forming area, the Ridat ATF’s allowed flexibility in mould design, low unit cost and high volume production.

The larger model 4848ATF is available also as a pressure former.

RIDAT Semi Automatic Vacuum Forming Process

Semi Automatic Vacuum Former provides for automatic processing cycle complete with material heat, vacuum to mould the shape, cooling of the formed product and ejection from the mould, index of the vacuum formed  sheet and  in-line sheet separation for continued uninterrupted production

Ridat Midmatic Vacuum Formers has, since the early 70s, generally been the work horse of the trade formers throughout the UK (and many of the English speaking countries around the globe), until the introduction of the form-cut stack systems. Updated to current day standards, it is still the appropriate solution for small to medium volume production runs and even today can be found plugging away with many trade formers.

SA Vacuum Former for  automatic forming cycle complete with material heat, vacuum to mould the shape, cooling of the formed product and ejection from the mould to allow easy removal of the vacuum formed component to be removed by the operator

Ridat SP series of Skin Packaging Machines Skin pack provides for automatic processing cycle complete with side pre-load and side offload station

Ridat range of Skin Packaging machines offers a choice of 2 standard card sizes; but will readily provide a bespoke solution for alternative card sizes.
