Pre-formed Blisters are placed in inexpensive wooden jigs and product (s) are laid inside the blister. The coated backing card is then placed on top, being located in the jig by spring loaded pins
When the assembly moves into position, under the heated platen contact is made with a limit switch and the jig assembly moves up and presses against the heated platen – thereby sealing the backing card to the blister

While this is taking place, other jig stations are being unloaded and reloaded. This can be done either manually or be fully automated.
